A Generational Milestone
One third-grade student is on track to become the first child in their immediate family to advance to fourth grade without repeating third grade. This achievement reflects the power of consistent support, dedicated volunteers, and a family committed to education.
A Place to Belong
One middle school student asked if he could join Reading Club after watching his younger sibling participate. Although the program was created for younger children, our team welcomed him because every child deserves the opportunity to learn. Today, he is strengthening his reading skills, growing in confidence, and discovering what can happen when someone believes in his potential.
Building a Strong Foundation
One of our youngest Reading Club students began the program in Pre-K learning basic letter sounds and simple three-letter words. Through individualized support and consistent encouragement, he made remarkable progress and is now reading above many of his peers before even entering kindergarten.
His journey demonstrates how investing in literacy early can open doors to a lifetime of learning.
Growing in Confidence
One young student who was new to the United States joined Reading Club to strengthen her English language, reading, and comprehension skills. With the faithful support of her family and consistent participation, she has made remarkable progress both academically and personally.
Today, she confidently reads Scripture aloud during the English worship service at Lake Worth Beach Nazarene Church. Her journey is a powerful reminder that literacy does more than improve reading skills—it builds confidence, opens doors to leadership, and empowers children to use their gifts to serve others.
